President - Rachel Westerbeck

Rachel is a junior biology major with a minor in psychology. She joined AGS in the fall of 2022. One of her favorite things about AGS is the level of connectivity between everyone in the organization. From the very start, everyone was super friendly and inclusive. She has found some of her very best friends through AGS and looks forward to seeing everyone at events. In her free time, she loves to go to concerts, go thrifting, and reading books. She is beyond excited to serve as this years president and cannot wait to see the immense growth within this organization!

Senior Trainer Supervisor - Rachel Cervantes

Rachel is a senior environmental geoscience major with a minor in geography. She joined AGS in spring 2021 and began her training journey in fall 2021. Her favorite part of AGS was meeting and raising her puppy Daisy, as well as creating lifelong friendships. She is thrilled to serve as this years Senior Training Supervisor and help others raise puppies too! In her free time, she loves exercising, hanging with her pup Winnie, painting, and singing in the car.

Junior Trainer Supervisor - Lauren Goldschmidt

Lauren is a junior Ecology and Conservation Biology major and is serving as this years Junior Training Supervisor! She joined AGS in the fall of 2021 and began her training journey in April 2022. She trained our wonderful chocolate lab, Bond, who is currently completing his secondary training with America's Vet Dogs in New York! Her favorite part about AGS was her time as a trainer, but she is excited to serve as a member of the puppy team to support our current and future trainers! In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends and caring for her new pup, Poppi!

Trainer Liaison - Camryn Spalding

Camryn is a junior allied health major. She joined AGS in the spring of 2022 and now is a sitter. Her favorite part about AGS is watching all of the puppies grow from clumsy little babies into polite and talented service dogs. In her free time, she loves to watch movies and hang out with her rescue pup. You can also find her hanging out with friends and family!

Administration Director - Bryce Ortiz

Bryce is a zoology major with a love for all animals and he will be this years Administrative director. He joined AGS spring of 2022 and started his trainer journey the second he joined the organization. Now he is currently training Clover, a big ball of fluff that loves to meet new people. His favorite part of AGS is the free food at every meeting, and on a slightly lower pedestal, the cutie little pups. In his free time, he likes to volunteer at a buffalo ranch, casually work with kangaroos, and do a bit (a lot) of bee keeping. He is stoked to serve as this years adminstrative director and cannot wait to see what AGS is going to do!

Programs Director - Andrea Lawrence

Andrea is a sophomore biomedical sciences major and is serving as this years program director. She joined AGS in the fall of 2022 and is now a trainer to Dolly as of spring 2023. Her favorite part about AGS are the people in it as well as hanging out with her service dog in training, Dolly. In her free time, she loves to rock climb, read, and explore her interests in art. 

Membership Director - Sondra Scoggin

Sondra is a junior biology major with a minor in psychology. She joined AGS in fall 2022. She is currently a sitter working on becoming a trainer. Her favorite part about AGS are the puppy graduations because we get to celebrate the dog and their trainer's acheivements.

Public Relations Director - Avery Kracmer

Avery is a sophomore journalism major with a minor in business and communication. She joined AGS in spring of 2023 and instantly fell in love with the organization. She now serves as a sitter for the pups. Her favorite part about AGS is getting to know more people while also helping train puppies. In her free time, she loves hanging out with friends and trying new coffee places. She is looking forward to a successful year in AGS and spreading awareness for what we do!

Co-Events Director - Stella Barton

Stella is a junior biology major and will be serving as one of this years co- event directors. She joined AGS in the fall of 2021 and is currently a sitter but eventually wants to become a trainer. Her favorite part of AGS is seeing the dogs and their trainers learn and grow together. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and drawing. She looks forward to creating social events to bring the members together this year!

Co-Events Director - Makinna Rodgers

Makinna is a junior biology on the pre-med track and she is going to be the other co-events director for this school year.  She joined AGS in spring of 2021 and has gone from a member to sitter to trainer to now director! She loves how everyone in AGS looks out for each other and is always so welcoming. Her favorite things are picnics, finding new places to eat, and of course traveling! She cannot wait to see what AGS has in store for this semester, all of the new people that will join, and is beyond excited to serve as one half of the co-events directors for this year!
