Past Dogs
AGS has now raised and trained over 100 puppies in our program, and this is just a snapshot of some of our dogs!
Clover

Clover is a Labradoodle donated to us by Mardee Calkins from Texas Labradoodles. After completing phase 1 of training, Clover was sent to Brigadoon in Bellingham, Washington to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Clover is awaiting placement.
Baron

Baron is a labrador donated to us from Hargrove Heaven Farm Labradors and was trained by Makinna Rodgers. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Baron graduated and left AGS.
UPDATE: Baron has been career changed and is now a pet.
Pearl
Pearl is a Golden Retriever Donated from Stellar Acres Goldens and was trained by Elizabeth Dorn. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Pearl was sent to Midwest Battle Buddies in Wichita, Kansas to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Pearl has been placed as a service dog with a female army veteran.

Bond

Bond (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Meraz Labradors and was trained by Lauren Goldschmidt. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Bond was sent to America's Vet Dogs to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Bond is currently awaiting placement.
Georgie

Georgie (a standard poodle) was donated to us by Independence Poodles and was trained by Victoria Nguyen-Le. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Georgie was sent to Assistance Dogs of the West to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Georgie has been career changed for medical reasons.
Cane

Cane (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Hargrove Heaven Farm Labradors and was trained by Hailey Trigg. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, he went to California Service Dogs Academy to complete phase 2.

Daisy (a golden retriever) was donated to us by Gravitas Goldens who partnered with California Service Dog Academy and was trained by Rachel Cervantes. After completing phase 1 with AGS, Daisy went to California Service Dog Academy to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Daisy was career changed due to medical reasons and is now a pet/ESA.

Bree (a standard poodle) was donated to us by Independence Poodles and was trained by Marley Simpson. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, she went to Freedom Service Dogs to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Bree was career changed due to behavioral issues and is now a pet.

Peggy (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Project 2 Heal who partnered with California Service Dog Academy and was trained by Lori Streit. After completing phase 1 with AGS, Peggy went to California Service Dog Academy to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Peggy was placed as a mobility service dog.

Blue (a goldendoodle) was donated to AGS by Lake Country Labradoodles and was trained by Rebecca Hutchinson. After completing phase 1 of training with us, he went to Assistance Dogs of the West for phase 2.
UPDATE: Blue now works in an Innovative Juvenile Justice Agency as a facility dog in Flagstaff, AZ.
Luna

Luna (a golden retriever) was donated to us by Gravitas Goldens partnered with California Service Dog Academy and was trained by Meghan Haggard. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, she was sent to California Service Dogs Academy to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Luna is now placed as a mobility/PTSD Service Dog.

Reed (a standard poodle) was donated to us by Independence Poodles and was trained by Ashlee Booth. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, he went to Assistance Dogs of the West to complete phase 2.
UPDATE: Reed is now placed as a courthouse facility dog with CASA Chavez.
Cadet
Cadet (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by California Service Dogs Academy. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Cadet was sent to California Service Dogs Academy to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Cadet was career changed for behavior.
Sailor
Sailor (a double doodle) was donated to us by Lake Country Labradoodles and was trained by Kendall Estridge. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Sailor went to Assistance Dogs of the West to complete phase 2.

Kaizer
Kaizer (a goldendoodle) was donated by Lake Country Labradoodles and was trained by Kialy Coleman. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Kaizer was sent to Anthem Service Dogs to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Kaizer was career changed from service work and now serves as a therapy dog at the Little Lighthouse in Tulsa, OK.
Ace
Ace a golden retriever, now known as Ranger, was sent to California Service Dogs Academy for phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Ace was placed as a service dog with a veteran.
Dillon
Dillon was donated to us by Red Dawn Golden Retrievers and was trained by Chelsie Pensyl. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Dillon was sent to California Service Dogs Academy to complete phase 2 of training.

Mav (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Freedom Service Dogs and was trained by Ethan Gilmore. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Mav returned to Freedom Service Dogs to complete phase 2.

Goose
Goose (a standard poodle) was donated to us by Freedom Service Dogs and was trained by Riley Wilkerson. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Goose was sent back to Freedom Service Dogs to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Goose was placed as a service dog doing retrieval, balance, and some customer tasks for a U.S. Air Force vetran who has a traumatic brain injury and upper body paralysis.
Nichols

Nichols (a labradoodle) was donated to us by Endless Pawsabilities and was trained by Alexis Hobb. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Nichols was sent to California Service Dog Academy to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Nichols was placed as a PTSD/mobility dog.
Rudder
Rudder (a goldendoodle) was donated to us by Gig Em Goldendoodles and was trained by Ashleigh Wells and was sent to Scout Legacy's Service Dogs for phase 2.

Rhys
Rhys was donated by Red Dawn Golden Retrievers and was trained by Ashleigh Griffin. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Rhys was sent to California Service Dog Academy to complete phase 2 of training.

Maya
Maya (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Assistance Dogs of the West and was trained by Nicole Huette. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Maya was sent back to Assistance Dogs of the West to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Maya was placed as a mobility support dog with a female veteran.
Graham
Graham (a labrador retriever) was trained by Sarah Knizer.
UPDATE: Graham was placed in Albuquerque with the police department.
Margo
Margo was trained by Brittany Stewart.
UPDATE: Margo was career changed for behavior.
Sully
Sully (a labradoodle) was donated to us by Lake Country Labradoodles and was trained by Hailey Cooper.
UPDATE: Sully was placed with a veteran in New Mexico.
Sinbad
Sinbad (a labrador retriever) was trained by Michael Farner and was donated by Assistance Dogs of the West. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Sinbad was sent back to Assistance Dogs of the West to complete his formal training.
UPDATE: Sinbad was career changed for behavior.
Trakr
Trakr (a labrador retriever) was trained by Anna Sneed and after completing phase 1 of training with AGS, he was sent to Assistance Dogs of the West.
UPDATE: Trakr now works at a Courthouse in Ventura and works with community against violence (CAV).
Pepper

Pepper was donated to us by Snickersdoodles and was trained by Abigail Newman. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, Pepper was sent to MADE in Texas Assistance Dogs to complete phase 2 of training.
UPDATE: Pepper was placed as an Autism Assistance Dog but retired in 2021.
Lucky
Lucky (a labrador retriever) was donated to us by Earl's White Labs and was trained by Hannah Lam.
Shane
Shane (a standard poodle) was donated to AGS by MNJ Parti Poodles and trained by Kyla Lavender. After completing phase 1 of training with AGS, he was sent to Assistance Dogs of the West.
UPDATE: Shane is now a facility dog at the 8th judicial DA in Taos, NM.
Buddy
Buddy was trained by Louisa Martin and after completing phase 1 of training with AGS was sent to Assistance Dogs of the West for phase 2.
UPDATE: He was placed as a mobility working dog with a woman in Santa Fe.
